Rubber diaphragms

are flexible seals that, as a moving membrane, prevent the creation of friction and also the unwanted transfer of materials between two places (leakage of liquids and gases). These products are strong and dynamic and sensitive to force and pressure changes. They are used in situations where accurate response to pneumatic and hydraulic pressure changes is required. Diaphragms are used in flow control applications.

» The flexible nature of this seal allows the effect of pressure to pass through the barrier without being in contact with the fluid. Therefore, there is no need for direct contact with the pressure sensor and the diaphragms are used to protect the process fluid from the pressure sensor.

» These diaphragms usually consist of a woven textile component or a layer of PTFE or metal in addition to rubber, which increase the mechanical strength of the diaphragm depending on its use and modify the properties of the final piece depending on its use.
